Business Development Manager

We’re looking for passionate individuals to join us in making a difference as our Business Development Manager!

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Find new clients, particularly from the corporates, NGOs, foundations, and governments.
  • Generate business leads, assess their potential, and ensure effective follow-up strategies are in place to convert leads into sales/deals.
  • Devise sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets, including setting goals, defining target markets, and establishing sales forecasts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities or improvements to existing products/services based on market research and clients/partners feedback.
  • Meeting potential clients and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage the budget for business development activities, ensuring investments are in line with strategic objectives and deliver a positive return on investment.
  • Regularly report on business development activities, sales performance, and market analysis to management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the Program team to develop the proposals and pitch materials.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Program and Legal teams for the development of the agreement for the clients/partners.
  • Support the Marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies that align with business objectives, such as creating events for launching new products.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, communications, public relations, sales, marketing, or related field, preferably within the education sector;
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for education development;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess market trends, identify business opportunities, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to analyse data and generate meaningful insights;
  • Ability to articulate ideas, prepare written materials, and deliver presentations professionally;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia;
  • Excellent networking skills and have extensive networks to corporates, NGOs, foundations, and governments;
  • Ability to negotiate and close deals;
  • Ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing strategies. Proficiency in using CRM systems and marketing tools is a plus;
  • Proactive and self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
