ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Networking & Market Analysis
- Attend relevant industry events to identify and cultivate new partnerships.
Data Collection & Reporting
- Ensure project data is updated and provide comprehensive quarterly reports summarizing key project information, including successes, challenges, and impact stories to support fundraising efforts.
Budgeting & Procurement Management
- Oversee the budget for fundraising activities, ensuring expenses remain within approved limits.
- Provide monthly budget updates, including any changes or adjustments to the initial budget plan.
- Lead the procurement process for vendors (e.g., media partners, event suppliers), negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and ensuring timely execution of vendor activities.
Capacity Building & Support for Implementing Partners (IPs)
- Provide training and mentorship to IPs on effective fundraising strategies and proposal preparation.
- Facilitate matchmaking between IPs and potential donors, supporting their capacity to secure funding.
Partnership and Donor Engagement
- Develop and implement strategies to engage individual, corporate, and foundation donors in Indonesia.
- Expand funding opportunities, deepen engagement with key program activities (e.g., Book Publishing, National Child Friendly Library, School Library Development, Literacy Cloud activities), and create long-term partnerships that raise awareness and drive sustainable fundraising.
Event & Campaign Management
- Lead the planning and execution of events and digital campaigns to strengthen partnerships with local organizations and government entities.
Donor Visits & Relations
- Coordinate or manage donor visits, providing post-visit reports.
- Strengthen relationships with existing donors by providing timely updates, personalized engagement, and ensuring consistent communication to encourage long-term support.
Social Media Management
- Strategically planning, creating, publishing, and managing content across diverse social media platforms to effectively communicate program objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in fundraising, partnership development, or program management, preferably in the non-profit or education sector.
- Proven track record in fundraising, with a focus on donor cultivation (individual, corporate, foundation) and income generation.
- Experience in budgeting, procurement, and vendor contract negotiation.
- Strong networking and relationship-building with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Data collection and reporting experience, with CRM knowledge (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ability to design and lead training on fundraising strategies for teams/partners.
- Strong event management experience (both digital and in-person).
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
- Fluent communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with fundraising CRM systems and Google Drive.
- Experience with digital marketing tools for campaigns.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and adaptability.
