Exciting news from ProVisi!
In collaboration with Room to Read, we are honored to support the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology’s Pemulihan Pembelajaran (Learning Recovery) initiatives by establishing Child-Friendly Libraries in eight districts: Aceh Besar, Jember, Sambas, Pesisir Barat, Halmahera Selatan, Seram Bagian Timur, Lombok Timur, and Nias for Cohort 1, 2024.
A heartfelt thank you to the MoECRT for the recognition of our joint efforts with principals, teachers, librarians, and district education departments in these districts. We are also gearing up for the expansion to eight more districts in Cohort 2 later this year.
Together, we transform school libraries into welcoming, child-friendly spaces, involve communities at every step to ensure these libraries thrive sustainably, and provide ongoing support to the people managing libraries and leading reading activities
This recognition reflects the dedication of everyone who believes that books and libraries can foster lifelong habit of reading. Let’s keep working to provide every child with a safe space to enjoy books and reading activity.
